The Kronos thread mentions this and "deobs", which I found out are basically newer versions of servers. I searched around and apparently the a lot of people use the "317 server" which I imagine is an old version. Not sure why you linked the Kronos server, since it seems to be semi-custom, but I read it and the info on the thread confused me: What can I extract on my own? I imagine the server is the programming part, so I'll have to get that from somewhere else, but what about the "source" and cache? (Although it seems like the OpenRS2 Archive is a better option, for the cache at least?) How do I check the latest version of OSRS? Is it just in-game? Is it the same number system that's used on here? (e.g. , thank you! I hope this isn't considered hijacking, but I have a few more questions then: Is it possible to play on my phone? I learned about build numbers, but I have no idea what the latest one is. Basically taking out the MMO part.īut I couldn't find much on how to do that. What I specifically want to do is play Vanilla OSRS, no custom anything, while offline. I searched the forum but I only ended up with more questions.
